After that, the episodes either will get a bit larger or I'll try releasing two a week (Wed and Sun). I'm still figuring out the best way to manage my workflow, but there definitely will be a new episode every Sunday.

Looking slightly ahead, episodes 2-3 will be about the same length (though the pace picks up a bit). After that, the episodes should be a bit longer. The 1st was 1320 words by my count, and I'm aiming to average 2000-2500. However, I'll probably make some even longer in order to maintain pacing through any slower bits. My plan is to take a year for the 130K word first novel. This allows me to fully edit the next novel and work on the remaining ones in the pipeline, while giving existing chapters a once-over and polish before posting. This said, I appreciate the feedback and will take into consideration how to accelerate things a bit. I can't adjust the first 4 episodes (which already have been scheduled), but going forward I conceivably could post shorter episodes twice a week, though the break points may be a little less natural sometimes. If one of these approaches strikes you as more desirable (ex. episodes this length but twice a week vs longer episodes once a week), please let me know. Substack and Vella both make it easy to schedule episodes however I want.
Liked the start, it's very exciting how yu set things considering the general plot yu posted, the only thing to say is the waiting from an episode to another and the lenght of the episode (if will ne always the same), I just wanted to be longer! But are details, I love this novel!
